This easy whipped feta dip is palatable, rich, and tangy - perfect for serving with fresh veggies and/or pita bread. For optimal results, use a block of feta cheese (NOT pre-crumbled feta) for this recipe.
2tablespoonsextra-virgin olive oilplus more for serving
2tablespoonsfresh lemon juice
1garlic clove
Red pepper flakesfor garnish
Chopped fresh parsleyfor garnish (optional)
Pita breadbaguette, or fresh veggies, for serving
1hot honey garnish (optional)
1handfulpistachiosgarnish (optional)
Instructions
In a food processor or small blender, place the feta, yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic. Pulse until combined.
Transfer to a serving dish and top with a drizzle of olive oil, pinches of red pepper flakes, hot honey, pistachios and chopped parsley. Serve as a dip with pita bread, or fresh veggies.
