Creamy Whipped Feta Dip

We recently hosted Greek Night at our home and had a blast testing and eating various Greek foods. The Creamy Whipped Feta Dip was a big success! It was eaten both as an appetizer with fresh veggies and pita crackers and as an accompaniment for the meats including chicken skewers, flat iron steak and lamb chops. Thank you to my daughter in law, Nicole, for turning us onto this luscious recipe for CreamyWhipped Feta Dip.

Creamy Whipped Feta Dip
This easy whipped feta dip is palatable, rich, and tangy – perfect for serving with fresh veggies and/or pita bread. For optimal results, use a block of feta cheese (NOT pre-crumbled feta) for this recipe.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces block feta cheese crumbled
- ¾ cup whole milk Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil plus more for serving
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove
- Red pepper flakes for garnish
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Pita bread baguette, or fresh veggies, for serving
- 1 hot honey garnish (optional)
- 1 handful pistachios garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a food processor or small blender, place the feta, yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic. Pulse until combined.
- Transfer to a serving dish and top with a drizzle of olive oil, pinches of red pepper flakes, hot honey, pistachios and chopped parsley. Serve as a dip with pita bread, or fresh veggies.
Notes
This dip is a fantastic appetizer or as a complement to greek chicken, steak, or lamb kabobs. It’s so easy and delicious!
