Low Carb Taco Pie

Easy Low-Carb Taco Pie: A Simple & Delicious Meal
If you’re looking for a low-carb meal that’s easy to throw together with minimal ingredients, this taco pie is the perfect choice. Packed with protein and healthy fats, it delivers all the taco flavors you love—without the carbs that come with traditional tortillas or shells.
Why Keep It Low-Carb? Reducing carbs can help stabilize blood sugar levels, prevent energy crashes, and even support weight management. This taco pie keeps the carbs low while delivering a satisfying, cheesy, and protein-packed meal the whole family will enjoy.
The Problem with Pre-Shredded Cheese While pre-shredded cheese may seem convenient, it often contains anti-caking agents like potato starch and cellulose, which add unnecessary carbs and can affect the texture of your dish. For the best results (and the cleanest ingredient list), shred your own cheese from a block. It melts better, tastes fresher, and keeps the carb count lower!
Watch Out for Taco Seasoning Additives Many taco seasoning packets contain unnecessary fillers, MSG, and hidden sugars. Opt for a clean brand like Siete, which avoids these additives, or better yet, make your own taco seasoning at home.
